What interesting things will the guests learn within a business program of the international agro-industrial exhibition "Agrovolga"?
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan informs that the international agro-industrial exhibition AGROVOLGA will be open in Laishevsky district from July 1 to 3.
The event will bring together farmers from all over Russia to discuss issues of the industry development. Here they will also be able to get acquainted with the latest achievements of the country's agro-industrial complex.
The business part of the event takes into account all the pressing issues of agriculture. Here, leading experts will talk about current trends and points of development in modern agriculture, including emerging opportunities in a light of the digitalization of the industry. Special attention will be paid to the importance of assessing and improving the genetic potential, new technological products and programs for feeding and raising animals, the role of veterinary medicine, technologies and lines of modern fertilizers for crop production, technical equipment for all areas of agriculture. The issues of farm efficiency and ways to improve it will also be highlighted.
Within the framework of the exhibition, practical master classes on animal care and seminars, revealing methods for assessing the pedigree and exterior of cattle, methods for conducting control milking, will be held.
A key event dedicated to the Year of Science and Technology in the Russian Federation will be a scientific and practical conference on "Global Challenges for Food security: Risks and Opportunities". The event will cover such important topics as the digital economy in the agro-industrial complex, rural development, the role of science in ensuring productive security, biotechnology and organic farming.
The exhibition will feature state-of-the-art agricultural machinery, regional competitions "Tractor-show" and a competition of breeding cattle, where accredited judges of the international level will determine the best cows of the Holstein cattle breed.
