A competition on the readiness of forage harvesting equipment has been launched in Tatarstan
This week, competitions on the readiness of forage harvesting equipment and forage storage facilities for the 2021 season are being held in regions of Tatarstan. The commission headed by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov and head of the regional agricultural administration Albert Sharipov evaluated the preparation of agricultural formations of the Sarmanovsky district.
The experts checked the condition of self-propelled mowers, forage harvesters and other trailed forage harvesting equipment, compliance with labor protection requirements and implementation of crop production measures, as well as visited dairy complexes, commodity farms and examined the crops of perennial grasses.
According to the results of the competition, the first place was taken by the agricultural firm LLC Agrofarm "Nurkeevo", the second place-LLC "Agrofarm" Sarman "and the third-LLC Agrofarm " Jalil".
According to the operational data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, 56,000 tons of haylage, 31,000 tons of silage and more than 5,000 tons of hay are planned to be harvested in the district.
