The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan invites to take part in the XII International Economic Summit "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit"
The XII International Economic Summit "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit" will take place in Tatarstan from 28-30 July.
The event will be held in a hybrid format (online and offline) at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center. Conscious consumption will be the main topic of the business program. The key topics are Islamic finance and partner banking, the halal industry, youth diplomacy, export development, entrepreneurship and investment. The event will also include an exhibition of the halal industry Russia Halal Expo 2021, where agricultural producers of the republic will take part.
Its main goal is to strengthen trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural ties between the regions of the Russian Federation and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, as well as to promote the development of institutions of the Islamic financial system in Russia.
The mission of the summit is to maintain established contacts between Russia and the countries of the Islamic world, to strengthen the positive image of Russia in the OIC countries, and to promote projects at the international level.
As part of the activities of the group "Russia - Islamic World", chaired by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan is preparing the annual Summit.
In 2019, the event brought together more than 5,000 visitors, including 3,500 representatives of international organizations, government bodies, financial institutions, ambassadors of 25 states, deputies, investors and businessmen from 72 countries, as well as 250 media representatives. More than 50 sessions were held on such areas that are relevant for the development of the Islamic world as Islamic finance and partner banking, the halal industry, export development, and socially oriented business.
