In Novosheshminsky district, the sowing campaign is close to completion
Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov visited Novosheshminsky district. He was accompanied by the head of the district Vyacheslav Kozlov.
Immediately upon arrival at the field of the farm "Savelyev A. A.", he met with the heads of agricultural organizations and heads of rural settlements, where they discussed the development of the district and the course of spring field work.

The sowing of spring crops is nearing completion – 94% of areas are sown, now the sowing of late crops is underway. About 2.5 thousand hectares of winter crops had to be replanted due to their death. Many farms this year apply a significant amount of mineral fertilizers. The region has about 74 kg / ha (active substance). The machine and technical park of farms has also been updated. Now farms have started leaf feeding of crops and protection of plants from pests and diseases.
Marat Zyabbarov noted that fields of the district are well cultivated, shoots have appeared, but hot weather dries up the soil, there is a lack of moisture.
Head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan recalled the need for agricultural insurance of crops, as there may be a drought. "This is important for our republic, this is a region of risky agriculture," said Marat Zyabbarov.
During the meeting with the heads of farms, investors and heads of settlements, the Deputy Prime Minister spoke about the measures of state support and subsidies for farmers. "All the existing programs are preserved, subsidies to livestock owners in private farms will also be provided," he said.
At the end of the working trip, Marat Zyabbarov thanked the farmers for their conscientious work, wishing them successful completion of field work and good harvests.
