Today, the dynamics of sowing of spring crops is 335.4 thousand hectares, of which spring crops and grain crops are 268.9 thousand hectares, barley - 193.1 thousand hectares, sugar beet - 13.6 thousand hectares.
According to the operational data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, to date, farmers of 10 districts have begun sowing sugar beets - Bugulma, Buinsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Zainsky, Kaibitsky, Menzelinsky, Muslyumovsky, Sarmanovsky, Tetyushsky and Tukayevsky districts.

In the republic, sowing work is planned to be carried out on an area of 1 million 766 thousand hectares.
