The leadership of Tatarstan met with the agrarians of the Arsk region
The Arsk region was visited today by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov. During the trip, the leadership of the republic discussed the progress of spring field work with representatives of the region's agro-industrial complex. The meeting took place on a field near the village of New Kyrlay.
The head of the Arsk region Ilshat Nuriyev reported on the main indicators of the agricultural industry. Today, the area of farmland in the Arsk region is 132.4 thousand hectares, of which 122.8 thousand hectares are allotted to arable land. The agro-industrial complex employs 1,863 workers. During the year, their average monthly salary increased by 14% and amounted to 23.8 thousand rubles.
Today, farmers continue seasonal work: feeding and harrowing perennial grasses and winter crops, closing moisture, encrusting seeds. Spring sowing this year is planned to be carried out on an area of 73.5 thousand hectares. As of today, the sowing campaign is at the very beginning: work has been completed on 2.2 thousand hectares, which is 3% of the plan. Arsk agrarians have accumulated 67.2 kg of mineral fertilizers per hectare.
Also during the conversation, the state of the regional park of agricultural machinery and the provision of farms with fuel and lubricants were discussed. The head of the district said that the vehicle fleet is updated annually. This year alone, about 10 new units of special equipment for field work were purchased.
Rustam Minnikhanov positively assessed the preparation of the Arsk agricultural enterprises for the upcoming sowing season. He also urged farmers to strictly comply with all the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor in connection with Covid-19.
