The All-Russian Competition of Animal Breeders will be held in Tatarstan for the first time
From 7 to 11 June in Tatarstan on the basis of the State Enterprise "Elita" will be held the 2nd All-Russian competition of livestock breeders of dairy and beef cattle breeding. This was announced at the first meeting of the organizing committee of the event.
The meeting was attended by Dmitry Butusov, director of animal husbandry and pedigree affairs of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov, Head of the State Budgetary Institution of the State Public Administration for Pedigree Affairs in Animal Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Zaripov and other responsible persons.
The competition will be organized in the following nominations: champion of the competition "Zootechnician-Breeder of 2021", winners of the nominations "Practical work with automated databases", "Assessment of the breeding value of animals", "Theoretical knowledge", "Veteran of the zootechnical service", "Future breeder" , "For contribution to the development of breeding" , as well as the challenge cup named after D.A. Kislovsky.
The competition is open to specialists from the zootechnical service of agricultural organizations and peasant (farmer) households - winners and prize-winners of regional competitions. The champion of the previous competition can only take part in judges commission as an expert.
Participants will have to show their practical skills in working with automated databases and assessing the breeding value of animals, as well as undergo testing.
