The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan informs that spring anti epizootic measures are organized in all state veterinary institutions of regions and cities of the republic.
Veterinary specialists travel to settlements to vaccinate domestic and farm animals on farms.
Animal rabies prophylaxis for the population is FREE OF CHARGE!
Compared to 2015, the registration of animal rabies cases in the republic decreased by 8.5 times.
The following events are held annually:
- general vaccination of all farm animals;
- maximum vaccination of cats and dogs;
- Immunization of wild carnivores with the oral Rabivak vaccine (the plan for 2021 is 1,800 thousand doses);
- Carrying out measures to regulate the number of wild carnivores (shooting foxes);
- explanatory work with the population on preventive measures.
