The Auchan hypermarket will host a fair with the participation of Tatarstan farmers
More than 20 farms will take part in the fair. According to the results of sales, the trading network intends to conclude contracts with the best farms.
The event will be held on April 17-18 with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Auchan Yuzhny hypermarket, located at Pobedy Avenue, 91. A special zone will be allocated on the territory of the store, where each farmer will personally present his assortment. The fair will be held in compliance with all sanitary rules.
“There are about 4 thousand farmers in our republic today. In 2020, farmers, together with personal subsidiary plots, produced agricultural products worth 131.9 billion rubles. This is half of the republican volume. Achievements in the development of small businesses in the republic are largely linked to volumetric state support, which is over 2 billion rubles annually, and the results of 2020 - over 3 billion rubles. But, of course, it is not enough to produce products, they need to be successfully sold. Therefore, we actively support the holding of such events aimed at promoting the products of our farmers, ”said Rishat Khabipov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan.
The event will be attended by more than 20 farms selected by the Ministry of Agriculture in conjunction with the procurement department and the directorate of the AUCHAN Yuzhny hypermarket. In the food segment, customers will be offered dairy and meat gastronomy, frozen semi-finished products, “healthy” products, national desserts, groceries and drinks. Non-food items include textiles and footwear. According to the results of sales, the trading network intends to conclude contracts.

A week later, on April 24-25, the second farmers' fair is planned to be held in the AUCHAN Park House hypermarket at Kazan, Khusain Yamashev Avenue, 46/33.
