Issues of malting barley production were discussed at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan
A meeting on the production of malting barley was held at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Gabdrakhmanov, representatives of the brewing company AB InBev Efes, JSC "RATSIN", as well as heads of agricultural formations.
Recall that in 2019, an agreement was signed between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan and AB InBev Efes on the launch of an agro-industrial program in the region. AB InBev Efes launched an agricultural program for growing malting barley in accordance with international quality standards over 16 years ago in several regions of Russia. It offers participants, local agricultural producers, modern technologies and the best world practices, innovations available to advanced farms in the USA, Europe and Latin America. The program allows you to improve the quality of grown malting barley, increase productivity and efficiency in the use of natural resources, and reduce costs. Farms participating in the program get access to the results of satellite monitoring of fields, recommendations of the best agronomists and experts in related industries, the ability to plan sales volumes while meeting growing conditions and quality requirements.
So, in 2020, together with AB InBev Efes, 24 farms from 15 regions of the republic were working. In 2021, it is planned to attract 8 more districts and significantly increase the volume of purchases.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the production of malting barley and the course of the procurement campaign in the Republic of Tatarstan. Today it is recommended to sow the fields with the Despina variety. In the course of field work, it is recommended to use ammonium nitrate, consolidated and complex fertilizers.
The representative of AB InBev Efes spoke about the new rules for processing documentation for barley. “The declaration of conformity from March 1, 2021 is registered on the Russian accreditation website in electronic format. To register or terminate the declaration through the Service, you must: register on the Single Portal of State and Municipal Services as an individual entrepreneur or legal entity, receive an electronic signature, download and install a plug-in for signing the declaration with a qualified electronic signature, "he said.
The executive director of JSC RATSIN, Radim Nurkhametov, spoke about lending for barley with a deferred payment until December 2021.
“The agricultural producer gets the opportunity to pay off the arrears for the delivery on a deferred basis according to the schedule: the first 10% of the delivery amount is repaid in equal installments in the period April-September 2021, then at 30% of the delivery amount every month - from October to December 2021,” he said.
It should be noted that the limits allocated for the package proposal for mineral fertilizers depend on the required amount of malting barley seeds and plant protection products. Debt repayment for the received goods to JSC "RATSIN" will be carried out with grain of malting barley, harvest of 2021.
