22 March 2021, Monday

Today Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov visited the St. Petersburg Tractor Plant. Here they are engaged in the design, development, production, installation and maintenance of agricultural tractors and attachments for them.

The first domestic tractors began to be produced back in 1924, when the first Fordson-Putilovets tractor was manufactured. In 1962, the enterprise assembled the first legendary Kirovets K-700 tractors, and since 2000, a new generation of tractors, K-744R, have been produced. In just 55 years, more than 480 thousand Kirovets tractors have left the assembly line of the plant.

The general director of the enterprise Sergey Serebryakov introduced the full cycle of the plant for the production of these legendary tractors.

“The equipment is manufactured at the factory with a wide range of options: twin wheels, a power take-off mechanism that ensures the operation of the attached and trailed equipment, the positional control system of the attachment to maintain a stable soil cultivation depth, the Trimble satellite autopilot system and much more. Of particular interest is the Omnicomm tractor parameters monitoring system. It allows you to comprehensively monitor the operation of the unit in real time, in particular, to track the fuel consumption, "said Sergei Serebryakov.

Kirovets tractors are in good demand among our agricultural producers. Tatarstan agrarians operate 980 high-power tractors produced by this plant (K-700/701 - 620 units, K-744 - 346 units, K-3180 - 7 units, K-424 - 7 units). In 2020, the farms of the republic purchased 62 tractors of St. Petersburg production. In 2021, about 15 Kirovets tractors have already been purchased by the farms of the republic. On equal terms with agricultural machinery of other domestic manufacturers, tractors are subsidized under the "70/30" program.
