Target for 2021: Each hectare of the commissioned area should be irrigated

Today, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Ildus Gabdrakhmanov took part in a meeting on the implementation of federal and regional reclamation programs.

The meeting was also attended by Mars Khismatullin, Director of Tatmeliovodkhoz Management, Rustem Sungatullin, General Director of Tatmeliovodkhoz TC, and more than 60 agricultural producers of the region, on whose lands irrigation systems have been restored over the past 10 years.

In his speech, Mars Khismatullin noted that in recent years, within the framework of federal and regional programs, more than 35 thousand hectares of irrigated land have been reconstructed, more than 200 km of water pipelines have been laid, more than 480 ponds out of the existing 887 structures have been brought into standard technical condition. Over six years, more than 4.2 billion rubles of investments were attracted for land reclamation.

In the past 2020, land reclamation workers carried out construction work at more than 138 reclamation facilities, including 4 large federal reclamation facilities with a total area of ​​2,270 hectares with a total area of ​​2270 hectares and a total cost of 270 million rubles were built and commissioned.

Within the targeted programs, more than 6.2 thousand hectares of irrigated land were commissioned in 2020, which is 80% higher than the indicators of 2019 and is a record figure for the last 5 years. In 2021, it is planned to commission 3.5 thousand hectares of irrigated land.

It was also noted that 39 water wells were drilled last year, 15 water towers were manufactured and installed.

The cultivation of fruit and berry crops on drip irrigation is intensively developing in the republic. Until 2022, it is planned to establish such plantations on an area of ​​2500 hectares.

During the meeting, farms that effectively use irrigated land and obtain high results in terms of productivity on irrigation were noted. This is the farm "Countrymen" of the Nizhnekamsk region, the farm "Davletov N.G." Menzelinsky district, LLC Agrofirm "Kyrlay" Arsky district, Agricultural production complex "Ural" Kukmorsky district, farm "Minekhanov" Tukayevsky district, FE GKFH Davletshin Z.N. Buinsky district, KFH Davletshina M.S. Buinsky district, KFH "Mustafin R.S." and KFH Pistsov A.A. Mamadyshsky district, etc. There were also noted farms that do not grow crops on irrigation, despite the fact that their lands have serviceable irrigation systems. They were given a command to effectively use the existing reclamation facilities in the future.

In 2021, it is planned to restore:

- 16 dams under the presidential program,

- 10 GTS under the state program for the development of land reclamation of the Republic of Tatarstan

- 3 GTS under the federal target program "Development of land reclamation until 2020", as well as several dams under the environmental program.

The budget of the Republic of Tatarstan provides a funding limit of 160,000 thousand rubles:

- including transfer facilities - 69 million rubles;

- for newly launched facilities - 90 million rubles.

Mars Khismatullin, Director of the Tatmeliovodkhoz Management Federal State Budgetary Institution, noted that with the federal and republican target programs in 2021, subsidies for reclamation work are provided for agricultural producers for drilling wells, for the purchase of reclamation equipment, repair and reconstruction of reclamation systems, while costs are reimbursed in the amount of 70 to 90% depending on the directions. It is important to note that in 2021 the volume of subsidies to reimburse part of costs for the purchased sprinkler equipment and pumping and power equipment will amount to 100 million rubles.

At the end of the event, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Ildus Gabdrakhmanov proposed to create an operational group in order to be able to inform about new programs, technologies, exchange experience, and work in close cooperation. He also noted that each hectare of the introduced area should be irrigated.
