The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting in the "Hour of Control" format with large agricultural enterprises in crop production industry. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov heard representatives of such agricultural enterprises as LLC Agrofirma Chistopolskaya LLC BIO-AGRO and LLC VOLGA-SELECT about plans for the current year. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister Ildus Gabdrakhmanov and heads of agricultural departments from the regions where the enterprises operate.

The economic indicators of the work of agricultural enterprises, the structure of sown areas, winter and fodder wedge, the state and plans for the renewal of perennial grasses, the provision of seeds, work with fallows, agrochemical soil surveys and plans for liming and applying mineral fertilizers were attentively analyzed.

The area of arable land of the Chistopolskaya agrofirm is 25.5 thousand hectares. The area under crops in 2021 is planned to increase from 14.6 thousand hectares in 2020 to 17.2 thousand hectares with an increase in the winter wedge from 2.9 thousand hectares to 6 thousand hectares, the condition of winter crops is assessed as good. It is planned to use only elite seeds, the introduction of mineral fertilizers over 100 kg per hectare of crops.

The company carefully analyzed the omissions of 2020 and made decisions to eliminate them: the lack of equipment, row-crop seeders and sprayers will be resolved through the purchase of 2 tractors, 10 combine harvesters, an 18-meter row-crop seeder and an 11-cc trailed sprayer. Also 2 mortar knots will be installed this week.

Ildus Gabdrakhmanov recommended sowing 10% of the grain wedge with stubble crops, and when using green manure to improve the soil, move away from mustard and use a cocktail set.

Representatives of BIO-AGRO LLC and VOLGA-SELECT LLC reported that enterprises cultivate 23.9 thousand hectares in Cheremshansky and 14.7 thousand hectares in Aksubaevsky districts. The sown area in 2021 will be 22.4 thousand hectares and 21.1 thousand hectares. The enterprises came to the conclusion that in the past year, the deterrent factor in obtaining high yields was the violation of crop rotation, the lack of legumes; barley was the precursor for winter crops. This year, the crop rotation has been radically revised, the area of legumes will be 1611 hectares, the predecessors for winter wheat are determined: green manure, peas and spring rape.

Ildus Gabdrakhmanov noted that the acceptance of mortar units by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan will be carried out until May 15, it is necessary to have time to put it into operation in order to enter the subsidy program.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan plans to hold a series of meetings in the "Hour of Control" format with investors and agricultural enterprises operating in Tatarstan. This format of interaction allows to quickly exchange information about the current situation in the regions, identify issues that need to be solved and bring the priorities of the industry development to the farmers.
