The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of breeding work for 2020

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting to summarize the work of dairy breeding farms in 2020 and announce the tasks for 2021.

The meeting was chaired by Lenar Garipov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The event was attended by livestock consultants, heads of selection and pedigree services of agriculture and food departments, heads of breeding farms and other responsible persons.

Rishat Zaripov, head of the State Budgetary Institution GGSU for livestock breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, briefed the audience on the results of the work of dairy breeding farms last year and announced the tasks to be completed in 2021.

In his speech, he focused on the issues of the proportion of breeding stock, the productivity of a dairy herd in agricultural formations.

Today there are 70 breeding farms in Tatarstan, including dairy cattle breeding 49 farms, beef cattle breeding - 4, pig breeding - 3, sheep breeding - 3, goat breeding - 1, horse breeding - 3, poultry - 2, fur farming - 2, beekeeping - 3 farms.

During the meeting, the regions- leaders in increasing the number of cattle in the last year were named. These are Atninsky (+574 heads), Baltasinsky (+372), Kukmorsky (+603), Mamadyshsky (+449), Alekseevsky (+236) districts. The productivity in breeding farms amounted to 8062 kg of milk (+417 kg compared to the previous year). The target for 2021 is 8 450 kg.

At the end of his speech, Rishat Zaripov recommended the heads of farms to intensify their work on accounting and unified identification of animals, and also outlined the tasks for 2021.

Raushan Gatiyatov talked about the experience of using high-tech methods of breeding work on the use of embryotransplantation at the Kursabash LLC of the Sabinsky region and Ilsur Gumarov on the use of sexized semen at the Soyuz-Agro LLC in the Aznakayevsky region.

“In 2020, the farm purchased 1,300 sexed cotyledons. The percentage of heifers obtained from insemination was 90%. The output of calves amounted to 3401 heads, ”noted Ilsur Gumarov.

Also at the meeting there were Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of Veterinary Medicine of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Nugumanov, General Director of the State Enterprise "Elita" Vysokogorsky District Fannur Zaripov and Director of the Agro-Industrial Complex Food Program of the Mamadysh District Ilnur Fatykhov.

At the end of the event, the best farms and regions of the republic were awarded with cups. In the nomination "District - leader in a number of breeding cows in 2020" the best was the Baltasinsky district, "Cow-champion of lifelong productivity - 2020" - Agroindustrial complex Food program of Mamadyshsky region, "Cow-champion of productivity for lactation - 2020" - Agricultural production company "Agrofirma Rassvet" Kukmorsky district.
