Marat Zyabbarov: The Menzelinsky region has huge reserves for agriculture

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Agriculture of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov visited a modernized farm in the village of Baltayevo, Menzelinsky District. The head of Kamsky Bacon Ildar Galyautdinov introduced him to the activities of the livestock complex. The Minister was told about the activities of the enterprise and the preparations for the construction of a large complex for the dairy herd. The new investor has already invested 1.2 billion rubles in the Baltaevsky complex. Breeding heifers from Denmark and Estonia were purchased, the farm was modernized, new equipment was installed. Breeding heifers give up to 28-30 kg of milk per day. The investor's farms employ 86 people, and the average salary is about 36 thousand rubles. Also, during a working visit to Baltaevo, the minister was presented with a new dairy complex, which will contain 6 thousand heads of dairy cows. The facility will be built in 2 stages in 2021-2023, with a total investment of 3.3 billion rubles.

Then Marat Zyabbarov took part in the reporting session of the Menzelinsky region. In his report, he noted that the region has huge reserves for agriculture, according to the final rating of the agro-industrial complex, the region occupies the 14th place and increased its positions by 7 compared to last year.

“The reserves of the Menzelinsky region are enormous! All farms in the region are able to achieve a stable gross harvest of 200 thousand tons and a grain yield of 40 centners per hectare, ”said Marat Zyabbarov.

The Minister stressed that agricultural enterprises working in the region, including the relatively recent strong investors “August”, “Kamsky Bacon”, should pay attention to ensuring decent wages for workers in the agricultural sector. The volume of agricultural products produced in 2020 amounted to 2.6 billion rubles, which is 106% by 2019. Cash proceeds from the sale of agricultural products amounted to 2 billion rubles (109%).
