Marat Zyabbarov took part in the final session of the Bavlinsky District Council
Today, within the framework of a working trip to Bavly, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Deputy Prime Minister- Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov took part in the final session of the District Council. Earlier, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan visited a number of production enterprises in Bavly and a rehabilitation center for people with disabilities.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the Bavlinsky region has the potential to increase the production in the agro-industrial sector. But while having 1.6% of arable land in the republic, the district forms only 0.8% of cash proceeds of the agro-industrial complex of the republic. This affects the income of agricultural formations and, consequently, the income of citizens employed in the industry. The average monthly salary in the agro-industrial complex of the region is 23 thousand rubles. By this indicator, Bavly occupies only 30th place among the districts.
“We have questions about dairy farming. Today the daily milk yield in the district is only 36 tons. Milk is the main source of income for the villagers. I am concerned that you have a small dairy herd. We need to look for investors, we have examples of successful agricultural development even without large agricultural holdings. It is necessary to collect milk from personal farmsteads, provide them with fodder, purchase prices must be worthy”, the President of Tatarstan stressed.
Also, the district has a large reserve in terms of the development of small and medium-sized businesses. “Yes, you are an area with a serious oil component. But the share of SMEs in the economy of your area is less than 9%. We need to develop platforms for business, organize training courses. We need to intensify work in this direction, develop tools to support small and medium-sized businesses. I also appeal to the Tatneft company: each of your optimization should go parallel with the creation of jobs, ”Rustam Minnikhanov noted.
