Farmers set up a horse breeding farm in 2018. Today about 50 horses are kept here. In addition to heavy draft breeds, the farm also breeds thoroughbred English horses, which annually participate in republican races.

Farmers have established the sale of eco-products from horse meat according to the scheme of tolling raw materials. The products are sold both in Tatarstan and Udmurtia. The plans are to launch the sale of horse meat products on Internet sites.

The head of the farm, Rafis Salikhov, said that at the moment meat processing is being carried out in neighboring Udmurtia. Farmers are planning to open production in Agryz soon. The project of the future enterprise was presented to Rustam Minnikhanov. The President highly appreciated the development of this direction. “This is a very promising project, traditional for our republic. The main thing is that you will have a stable demand, ”he said.

Rustam Minnikhanov urged the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan to provide support to the farm, and offered farmers to actively use the possibilities of consumer cooperation.

In parallel, the Salikhovs are developing ecotourism. The head of the farm told the President that the guests can ride horses and relax in a special yurt, which was brought from Kazakhstan.

In addition to horses, the farmers also keep over 250 sheep of various breeds.
