With the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, a new family farm was opened in the Mendeleevsky district
The object was built in the peasant farm of Georgy Kharitonov with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. The farmer received a 6.5 million rubles grant under the program "Development of family livestock farms on the basis of peasant (private) farms in the Republic of Tatarstan."
Georgy Kharitonov said that he started in March 2003 with 3 cows.
“The animals are in comfortable, warm conditions. Today the farm employs 9 people. The farm maintains 245 animals, 100 of which are cows. 399 tons of meat have been grown, the gross milk yield is 5380 tons”, he said.
During the event, guests were able to taste the dairy products of the farm, as well as see the barn itself.
The head of the district Valery Chershintsev and the head of the district agricultural department Ilnur Farukhshin came to congratulate on the opening of the dairy farm.
“With the advent of this farm, the district has made another big step in the development of the district's agriculture,” noted Valery Chershintsev.
Ilnur Farukhshin also congratulated the farmer on the opening of a new farm, wishing him success for new projects and good health.
