Agrosila increases export of halal products and chicken legs to China
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, in 2020 Chelny-Broiler LLC, a subsidiary of AGROSILA, plans to produce 123.9 thousand tons of poultry meat in live weight and 96.6 thousand tons of various types of meat products. The holding notes that over 864.2 thousand kg of products worth 95.5 million rubles were sent for export this year. The most demanded in the export group were the chicken legs - 64% of the total share of export sales or 554.6 thousand kg, which became especially relevant for buyers in China.
In the category of processed products, the greatest demand was for the halal line: sausages, small sausages and bacon, in raw products - butchering: thigh and drumstick.
Today, among the main requests for export are meat of broiler chickens and processed products of the same meat (sausages, delicacies). Previously, the halal line was exported only to the republics of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan; in 2020, supplies to China started.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan reminds that Chelny-Broiler in 2020 entered the rating of the American publication WATTPoultry International as one of the largest producers of broiler meat in Europe. Today, the enterprise includes 11 sites designed to grow more than 50 million heads per year, a unique breeding stock, 2 largest incubators in the Volga region with a total capacity of 67 million eggs per year, a chicken processing plant and a sausage production workshop.
At the same time, Chelny-Broiler carries out a full production cycle: from obtaining hatching eggs and hatching young stock to production and sale of finished products to the consumer. At production sites, experimental feeding programs, Pad Cooling units are applied, product packaging and the system for utilizing low-grade heat are being improved as part of resource-saving technologies.
The poultry division of the holding also includes the largest processing complex in Russia, Agrosila.Chelny-MPK LLC. The design capacity of the enterprise reaches 144 tons per day or 49.5 thousand tons annually. A robotic warehouse and automated lines for the production of finished products are localized here: from traditional sausages, cooked smoked products and semi-finished products, including for catering chains, to various types of marinades, delicacies and raw smoked products - more than 350 items in total.
