The regional WorldSkills championship in the "Agronomy" competence has started in the Kukmor region
The Regional Championship of the Republic of Tatarstan "Young Professionals" (WorldSkills Russia), a championship cycle 2020/2021 in the competence "Agronomy", supervised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, has started at the Kukmor Agrarian College.
The opening was attended by Irek Sadykov, Head of the Department for Development of Agriculture Branches of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
“The main task of the WorldSkills Russia Championship is to increase the prestige of blue-collar occupations. The first network qualifying stage of the championship took place on December 4. Seven educational institutions of the republic submitted applications for participation in the competition, five of them met again, ”said Renat Dunaev, senior expert of the Tatarstan“ Young Professionals”.
Students of secondary vocational schools of Kukmorsky, Atninsky, Sarmanovsky, Chistopolsky and Mamadyshsky districts take part in the competition.
All conditions are created for the participants.
During three days they will compete in five modules "Vegetative propagation of plants", "Determination of agrochemical properties of soil", "Determination of the quantity of gluten quality" and "Determination of sowing qualities of seeds".
Each module is given two hours, and experts monitor the work of the contestants. Under the terms of the competition, the winners of the regional championship will be included in the national team of Tatarstan.
