Recently, the population of large cities of Tatarstan has been increasing interest in natural farm products, which are not sold in popular stores. According to studies carried out in Tatarstan by the PromRating agency with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, for 33.6% of the residents of our republic it is important that the food manufacturer is a local company, and for 25.4% of the population it is even extremely important!

Interestingly, men and women have different attitudes towards farm products. Women in large cities of Tatarstan generally assess farm products more positively than men, and more often purchase dairy products from farmers, while men more often purchase meat and meat products.

These are the conclusions reached by the analysts of the PromRating agency following a survey of residents of Tatarstan cities with a population of over 100,000 people on the topic of purchasing and consuming local farm products.

The survey also showed that residents of Nizhnekamsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk and Zelenodolsk pay more attention to personal relationships with a seller of farm products than residents of Kazan. At the same time, residents of the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, on average, have a worse and more discriminating attitude towards farm products than residents of other large cities of the republic.

In general, more than 80% of the surveyed citizens from Tatarstan stated their positive attitude to farm products, which they consider environmentally friendly and more natural, in contrast to those sold in stores (the survey also showed which stores are more often bought by townspeople).
