The agrarians of Tatarstan have the opportunity to purchase mineral fertilizers through the exchange trading mechanism
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan announces the possibility of purchasing mineral fertilizers through the mechanism of exchange trading. Today, the largest producers of mineral fertilizers are selling their products at the exchange trading: PhosAgro Group (JSC Apatit, LLC PhosAgro-Region), JSC MCC EuroChem (LLC EuroChem Trading Rus), JSC UCC URALCHEM "(OOO TD URALCHEM), Acron Group (PJSC Acron, PJSC Dorogobuzh, JSC Agronova), PJSC KuibyshevAzot, PJSC Togliattiazot, KAO Azot, LLC Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat ...
To date, all main types of mineral fertilizers are represented at the exchange trading: ammophos and sulfo-ammophos, ammonium nitrate grade B, carbamide grade B, nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium fertilizers 15:15:15, 10:26:26.
As a reminder, in December 2017, SPIMEX launched a project to organize trading in the Mineral Raw Materials and Chemical Products Section. In 2018, a pilot project for exchange trading in mineral fertilizers was implemented. As a result of its implementation, within the Exchange Committee of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia for mineral fertilizers, a decision was made to further develop trading, expand the range of goods for sale on the Exchange.
The development of exchange trading is carried out in accordance with the goals set by the National Plan for the Development of Competition, approved by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation from December 27, 2017 No. 618.
In February 2020, the Joint Order of the FAS Russia and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia entered into force, which, in accordance with Article 6 of the Law "On Protection of Competition" No. 135-FZ of July 26, 2006, sets the minimum volume of exchange sales of mineral fertilizers for the largest companies at the level of 10% of the volume of supplies to the domestic market.
The number of regions is expanding - in 2020, for the first time mineral fertilizers were sold from manufacturers' bases located in the Republic of Tatarstan.
In total, more than 100 delivery bases located in 32 constituent entities on the exchange are currently registered in the Russian Federation.
The advantages of exchange trading include: equal access of participants to exchange trading, market pricing, high liquidity and constant availability of goods, standardized and transparent conditions for the conclusion and execution of contracts, a guarantee of fulfillment of obligations under an exchange contract.
