The agricultural enterprise "Kamsky Bacon" is one of the largest pig breeding enterprises in Russia. The main activities of the company include crop production, dairy farming, slaughter and primary processing of meat.
This autumn 205 heads of breeding heifers from Estonia were brought to the farm "Kamsky Bacon" in Menzelinsky District, and the other day another batch of Holstein-Friesian heifers arrived from Denmark, in the amount of 292 animals. The potential of each of them is from 8 to 10 thousand kg of milk per year.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, some of the cows have already been delivered to the dairy complex in Baltaevo, which has been overhauled this year. In addition, the construction of a milking complex for 2,400 cows at the Avgust-Muslyum LLC near the village of Stepanovka is in full swing; next year it is planned to build another such complex for 3,600 cows.
