The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan held an "Hour of Control" on issues of uninterrupted operation of agricultural enterprises

At the Ministry of Agriculture, on behalf of the Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev, a regular meeting in the "Hour of Control" format was held, dedicated to ensuring the smooth operation of agricultural producers during the coronavirus pandemic. It was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, as well as heads of large agricultural enterprises of the republic.

Marat Zyabbarov reported on the development of anti-crisis measures at large and medium-sized agricultural enterprises and on the implementation of comprehensive preventive measures. There are 1170 livestock enterprises in the republic, including 1042 for dairy cattle breeding, 12 for pig breeding (large and medium-sized), and 116 for poultry farming, including 15 large ones. More than 1 thousand enterprises of the food and processing industry operate today.

At present, food and processing industry enterprises operate normally, under the control of especially large backbone flour and bakery enterprises, cereal producers, milk and meat processing organizations, producers of fat and oil products, vegetables and granulated sugar. An optimal operating mode is provided for them, taking into account the shift; a personnel reserve has been organized in case of closure of key employees for quarantine. It is envisaged to conduct accelerated training courses for replacement workers by type of activity. In case of organizing a rotational work method, it is possible to accommodate workers (hostel, children's camp, etc.). It provides a primary medical examination for newly arrived workers, contracts have been made between organizations and medical institutions, equipping new employees with personal protective equipment and disinfectants.

In order to support livestock industry, the Ministry, together with the veterinary service of the republic, organized ambulance veterinary teams. They are equipped with mobile precinct points, 77 units of disinfection units based on GAZ and KAMAZ chassis, 48 ​​mobile disinfection units, 101 backpack gasoline sprayers, 48 ​​mobile veterinary points based on a UAZ vehicle, 101 Lada Largus Cross cars, which are equipped with obstetric, surgical , pathological kits, injectors for mass seasonal events, an aerosol disinfection unit. More than 2000 people ensure the veterinary safety of the republic.
