In Tatarstan, at the initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, to preserve the veterinary well-being of the republic, the introduction of the Unified Identification of Cattle has begun.

Vozrozhdenie LLC in the Arsk region was established in 2017 on the basis of agricultural land and farms of the Vamin agricultural holding. In a short time, at the expense of the investor and with the support of the state, at the Churilinskaya farm, the roof was replaced at four cowsheds, the maternity ward was overhauled, individual cages for newborn calves and a calf barn were built. At the Kachelinskaya MTF, 3 rooms have been repaired - with the roof replacement, trays for manure transporters, floor concreting. A new water supply will be extended. Another calf barn for 200 heads is under construction. At both farms, milk pipelines work on the cards, and a warm watering system has been built. In Old Churilino, the first stage of a livestock complex with loose cow housing and a milking parlor is being built.

“We are improving not only the conditions for keeping livestock, but also the feeding,” says Ramilya Valiullina, chief animal technician at Vozrozhdenie LLC. - Feed is dispensed by feeders, mixing of feed components is carried out on the basis of pre-prepared rations for different groups of animals.

The company's farms keep 900 cows, the daily gross milk production has increased by 4 tons in comparison to last year.

Currently, the issue of animal identification is on the agenda in an agricultural enterprise. It has become aggravated not only in connection with a need to increase milk production on the basis of a differentiated balanced feeding of animals. The issue of veterinary welfare of animals is also very important, and for this, in a huge herd, every cow, every heifer must be easily recognizable in order to know exactly which vaccines are needed for a particular animal at a particular time period.

- For this there is a need of chipping livestock, - says Ramilya Valiullina. - A chip is a kind of animal passport that can be read. Various computer programs that allow accurate accounting and control are available now. With the help of the Deri Comp program, for example, implemented on our farms, we control the process of mixing feed components and their shipment from the warehouse and silage trenches. And now we are mastering the program of animal identification in order to better control the physiological state of animals from birth to culling and carrying out various veterinary measures. Currently, we are equipping the herd with chips that can be read by any cell phone with the downloaded application.

At the Churilinskaya MTF, we entered a room with individual cages. Ramilya Rafikovna, using her phone, showed the data displayed on the screen: which organization it belongs to, location, date of birth, veterinary measures taken.

Wow: we people get passports at the age of 14. And the animals receive them from birth. Well, downright privileged people.
