Tatarstan "SlastEla" will be presented in the "Tastes of Russia" competition

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan nominated the SlastEla brand (ZAO Yelabuga Pishchekombinat) for participation in the first national competition of regional brands “Tastes of Russia”.

In the nomination “Try it, you'll love it” the regional brand “SlasEla” will present delicate fluffy whipped sweets “Ptichka Yelabuzhskaya”, rural bread, which is baked from a mixture of second-grade wheat flour and peeled rye flour. Due to the high fiber content in flour, it contains almost all the nutrients a human needs. It contains proteins, carbohydrates, B vitamins, and mineral compounds. Among the minerals, the following should be noted: iron, iodine, manganese, chromium, molybdenum, vanadium, cobalt, chlorine, potassium, magnesium, zinc, copper, selenium, fluorine, boron, silicon, sulfur, phosphorus, sodium and calcium. Also a drink Yelabuga kvass, gingerbread Yelabuga and Kazan, with fruit and berry filling, glazed with chocolate glaze - one of the regional varieties of printed gingerbread, which is made using a "gingerbread board", will be presented in the competition. And thanks to the exclusive branded packaging, the products will become a good souvenir that you can take with you in memory of Yelabuga.

It is worth noting that the products under the SlastEla trademarks are sold in modern colorful packaging, are in great demand among the population and are sold in all cities of Tatarstan, as well as abroad: in the republics of Bashkortostan, Udmurtia, Sverdlovsk, Orenburg, Chelyabinsk regions, Perm.

Souvenir products such as "Yelabuga Gingerbread", "Chak-chak" are presented in the souvenir department of the Yelabuga Historical Museum.

More than 290 applications from more than 60 regions of the country have already been submitted to participate in the First National Competition for Regional Food Brands "Tastes of Russia". The subjects represent the most interesting and promising brands, which are already gastronomic “visit cards” of the territories or are not yet known to the mass consumer, but have significant development potential.

The five leaders in number of applications included the Republic of Tatarstan, which presented traditional sweets, drinks, flour and dairy products, as well as meat delicacies.

Recall hat you can apply for the competition until November 9. Further, from November 19 to December 2, a vote will take place on the portal of the "Tastes of Russia", after which the expert group will determine the best regional brands. The results of the competition will be announced in mid-December.

All project participants will find themselves in the federal program of support and promotion, they will have a chance to improve the qualifications of their employees, and the winners will get the opportunity to receive support for the growth of demand and sales.
