Marat Zyabbarov took part in a meeting with Arsalan Zare, Governor of Gilan Province (Iran)

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with the Governor of the Gilan Province of the Islamic Republic of Iran Arsalan Zare. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov also took part in the meeting, which was held in the mode of video conference.

The parties discussed the issues of further cooperation in trade and agro-industrial spheres.

Gilan provinc occupies a favorable geo-economic position in Iran. The province has developed agriculture, some types of industry, and also has the largest Iranian port on the shores of the Caspian Sea.

During the meeting, it was noted that Tatarstan and the Gilan province can interact in such areas as the development of agriculture and the export of agricultural products from the Gilan province, the import of halal products from Tatarstan, the production of greenhouse products and fish farming, the exchange of trade and economic delegations, cooperation of chambers of commerce and industrial zones.

Rustam Minnikhanov expressed hope that the meeting will end up in business ties with a good impetus.
