Every week we write about people who, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, develop their business in rural areas. One of these is Anton Voronin from Pestrechinsky district.

In 2019, he received a 19 million rubles grant from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan under the Family Livestock Farms program. Now, using these funds, the farmer is building a new building for 80 thousand heads, purchasing equipment, birds and feed.

He was born in Kazan. Here he graduated from the Kazan Aviation Institute, but at some point decided to try himself in agriculture. The young man had a desire to develop his own business, but he did not want to be far from his hometown.

“Everything turned out well - not far from Kazan, in the village of Nadezhdino, I purchased old, destroyed farm buildings. First, we made a major overhaul, purchased equipment and day-old chicks. At first, there were thoughts of giving up everything and moving to the city. But I decided that I should continue the work I had started. Taking into account all the mistakes, I drew up a new work plan and things went smoothly, ” recalls Anton Voronin.

Now in the buildings of the farm there are two hen-keepers and one locksmith. They control the temperature. The enterprise also has its own mill.

“We buy day-old chickens in December, January and May in Tatarstan, St. Petersburg and the Urals. We keep them up to a hundred days, then we sell them. Buyers come from all over Russia, as well as Kazakhstan and the Republic of Belarus. We mainly work with wholesalers. At the height of the season, we have up to 200 thousand heads of birds, ”says the head of the farm.

The entrepreneurs are planning to expand the farm and increase the number of birds to 300 thousand.

“Despite all the difficulties, we hope that we will gain a foothold in agriculture and will work for a long time and successfully. I would like to please the residents with the high quality products, ” says Anton Voronin.
