I sincerely congratulate you on your professional holiday - the Day of the Worker of Agriculture and Processing Industry!

The labor of the landowners has always deserved special respect in Russia. Despite the difficult situation this year, you have once again demonstrated the highest professionalism, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the industry, maintaining its sustainable development and achieving a significant increase in production in all key areas.

Thanks to your selfless work, the country is harvesting the second largest grain harvest in post-Soviet history this year. Record figures are also expected in the production of greenhouse vegetables. The results in animal husbandry, food and processing industries make it possible to speak confidently about ensuring the country's food security. The persistence and diligence of workers in the agro-industrial complex provided the industry with a leading position in the Russian economy, made it possible to increase the export of agricultural products.

At the same time, for the further dynamic development of the industry, it is necessary to solve a number of large-scale tasks, such as increasing the efficiency of agricultural production, modernizing enterprises, implementing modern investment projects, opening new markets and much more. At the same time, the most important direction and priority in our work is the creation of comfortable and modern living conditions in the countryside. This year we have already achieved significant success in this direction thanks to the implementation of the state program "Comprehensive development of rural areas." I am sure that in the coming years it will give a new impetus to the country's agro-industrial complex.
