Rustam Minnikhanov presented awards to the winners of the VIII National Championship "Young Professionals" (WorldSkills Russia)
President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with the winners and prize-winners of the VIII National Championship "Young Professionals" (WorldSkills Russia) -2020. The meeting took place in the Kazan Kremlin. It was also attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.
The leaders of the republic congratulated the winners and prize-winners of the championship on a confident victory.
Let us remind you that this year the competitions were organized in a new distance-in-person format. This approach was first introduced in the world practice of WorldSkills at the initiative of Russia. This made it possible to make the championship the largest not only in our country, but also in the world.
The Republic of Tatarstan took 1st place in the rating of regions according to the results of the final of the WorldSkills-2020 national championship.
As Rustam Minnikhanov noted, this victory is the result of painstaking work and numerous trainings. He addressed special words of gratitude to experts, coaches and teachers, as well as heads of educational institutions - for their work.
The President of Tatarstan also congratulated everyone on the 80th anniversary of the creation of the system of vocational education in Russia.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the WorldSkills movement, the preparation and holding of the world championship as a whole gave a powerful impetus to the development of the vocational education system and the strengthening of human resources.
Today, 41 resource centers have been created in Tatarstan, equipped with the latest equipment. Resource centers have become not just a forge of workers, but also points of development of vocational education. According to Rustam Minnikhanov, new competencies enable young people to become competitive and popular in the modern labor market.
“I am sure that your knowledge, skills and competencies will be useful for the real sector of the economy and young colleagues who will have to prove their skills at the next championships,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
He also recalled that from year to year, the number of prizes in Tatarstan is growing. We will continue to support the WorldSkills movement, introduce its high standards into educational practice, Rustam Minnikhanov assured.
The presentation of awards took place there. Among the awardees there were also the winners in the competence of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan - Bulat Khaliullin ("Operation of agricultural machines"), Ksenia Petukhova ("Veterinary"), Lilia Zagidullina "Veterinary - Juniors", Yazilya Gatina "Confectionery" and Adilya Askhadullina "Breadmaking". They all received cash bonuses. Also, the teacher of the Sarmanov Agrarian College Ilshat Garayev was awarded.
The bouquets for all the awardees today were drawn up by the winners of the national championship in the “floristry” competence.
