1 September 2020, Tuesday

On September 5, in Kazan, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, a fair will be held in the Agroindustrial Park "Kazan". Citizens will be able to buy agricultural products grown by gardeners, take part in various competitions and master classes.

Fruits, vegetables, seedlings of fruit and berry trees and other products will be brought by gardening non-profit partnerships of Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, as well as Almetyevsky, Verkhneuslonsky, Vysokogorsky, Zelenodolsky, Laishevsky, Nizhnekamsky, Pestrechinsky, Tukayevsky and Chistopolsky districts. The fair will also be supported by the regional branches of Tatpotrebsoyuz.

The purpose of the event is the development of horticulture on the territory of the republic. In Tatarstan, everyone who grows crops on his land, instills respect for the land in his children and grandchildren, therefore, much attention is paid to supporting gardeners.

In total, over 900 horticultural non-profit associations are registered in Tatarstan. More than 1 million citizens use 376 thousand garden plots with a total area of 20 thousand hectares. The leadership of Tatarstan provides active support to gardeners. Since 2017, more than 500 million rubles have been allocated to solve the problems of gardeners. Thus, over three years of work, 1 billion 650 million rubles was spent. This made it possible to install 151 water towers, repair 83 wells, lay 26 km of water pipelines, and bring 359 sites for the collection and removal of solid waste into a standard state. In addition, 92 km of access roads were repaired, 116 km of power lines and 118 complete transformer substations were put into operation.

Earlier, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov announced that this year, despite the difficult economic conditions, this work will be continued.

Recall that the republic has a program for co-financing the costs of CPs for the repair of internal infrastructure. The essence of the program is that, for example, for each thousand rubles spent by CPs on repairs, the state will add another two thousand rubles. Applications are accepted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
