The regional committee of the trade union of workers of the agro-industrial complex provided legal assistance in the development of 102 collective agreements and local regulations
In the Sabinsky municipal district, a meeting of the Presidium of the Tatarstan Republican Trade Union organization was held under the chairmanship of Farida Garifullina.
The meeting was attended by the chairmen of the regional organizations of the Trade Union, the primary trade union organizations of the industry, members of the control and audit commission of the republican organization of the Trade Union, the trade union activist of the Sabinsky region.
A report on the work of the republican trade union committee was made by the chief specialist on social and economic protection of the republican committee of the trade union of the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation Bulat Garifullin. The Presidium notes that, acting in the interests of employees, the Trade Union is working to ensure compliance with the legislation, labor rights of employees, primarily in terms of timely and fair payment of wages and labor protection. Trade union bodies are assisted in developing bargaining strategies and conducting negotiations with employers when concluding collective agreements. Legal expertise of collective agreements is carried out. In 2019, the Republican Trade Union Committee provided legal assistance in the development of 102 collective agreements and local regulations; examination of 72 collective agreements was carried out. Bulat Garifullin announced the most problematic issues of collective-contractual work in agricultural organizations. The Presidium adopted a resolution in which the chairmen of trade union organizations were invited to take measures to increase the level of human rights work in organizations and enterprises of the industry, to seek elimination by employers of identified violations of labor legislation.
Accountant of the republican committee of the trade union of the Russian Federation Gulnaz Shavalieva informed about the results of the financial activities of trade union bodies for 7 months of 2020. She focused on the need to strengthen control over the observance of the Statutory requirements and financial discipline by the committees of the trade union, the obligation to comply with collectively adopted trade union decisions.
Further, at the meeting, the chairman of the republican organization of the Trade Union Farida Garifullina summed up the results of the VII conference of the Tatarstan republican organization of the Trade Union of the workers of the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation, and also announced the task to implement the decisions of the conference.
The presidium ended with a solemn ceremony of awarding the best trade union activists of the republic's agro-industrial complex. The meeting participants visited the Museum of the History of the Sabinsky Forestry. In memory of their stay in the Sabinsky region, the participants bought souvenirs painted by the craftsmen of the souvenir shop of the wood processing complex.
