Today the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting with representatives of the Internet company Ozon.ru (Internet Solutions LLC).
The event was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan for Investments, Business Ombudsman of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev, General Director of the RIVC Niyaz Khaliullin, Head of the Board of Tatpotrebsoyuz Rashat Shaimardanov, Head of the Department for Work with Government Bodies of Ozon Alexander Vasiliev, Director of Government Relations Dmitry Rusakov and large holding companies of the agricultural sector.
During the meeting, Nail Zalakov expressed interest in selling the products of Tatarstan agricultural producers through the Ozon.ru distribution network.
“Our task is to help our farmers and agricultural producers to help with the sale of their products,” said the first deputy minister.
Dmitry Rusakov spoke about the advantages and possible options for Tatarstan producers:
1. Registration at the site and delivery of products to specialized warehouses;
2. Storage of products at home and delivery, in case of receipt of an order, to the nearest sorting center (for example, in Kazan);
3. Delivery and logistics are undertaken by the entrepreneur himself.
As a new direction, Ozon considers the dark store trade format. The term dark store refers to stores without customers - a warehouse is similar to the sales area of an ordinary supermarket, where online orders are collected. Instead of customers with lists of products between the aisles, professional pickers move here. And buyers receive the goods delivered to their homes.
Niyaz Khaliullin reported on the work aimed at solving the problem of sale of products among small businesses. He noted that at the moment the development of their own Marketplace for Tatarstan farmers is underway and informed about the possibility of integrating the platform with the Ozon company with the ability to pick up the ordered goods in stores of the "near home" format, delivery to remote settlements through Auto Stores, etc.
Representatives of the Ozon company expressed their interest in this proposal and their willingness to join forces to develop local sales.
The parties also agreed to develop specialized training courses for farmers and agricultural producers through the specialized portal "Agropolia", presented as part of the "Field Day in Tatarstan - 2020" to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
