22 July 2020, Wednesday

Today, on the basis of the Chistopol variety testing site, a zonal seminar was held with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Gabdrakhmanov, the head of the district Dmitry Ivanov and interested farmers of the republic.

During the seminars, they announced the priorities of the crop growing industry for 2021 to increase the yield of arable land and the efficiency of farming industry in Tatarstan:

1. Optimization of technological operations (5 in one);

2. Management of crop formation (equipping with self-propelled sprayers);

3. Increasing the effectiveness of protective measures (equipping with mortar units).

Ildus Gabdrakhmanov noted that in order for the soil to work for the harvest, for efficiency, it is necessary to combine technological processes. 5 in 1 - this is pre-sowing treatment, fertilization, sowing, application of biological products to seeds and rolling. All these processes can be performed simultaneously by one technique.

The representative of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan also drew attention to the yield formula, which is based on 3 components: the number of productive ears, the number of grains in an ear and the mass of seeds. For the optimal formation of all these factors, 4-fold processing of crops is required. It is most efficient to carry out this work with the help of self-propelled sprayers, since the work process is automated and the health of the worker is not endangered.

The effectiveness of protective measures will seriously increase with mortar units, which allow softening, deoxidizing and heating the water used to prepare working solutions. Our task is to introduce them in every farm with arable land area over 500 hectares.

“All these measures will allow to seriously increase the yield in Tatarstan, the efficiency and profitability of our agricultural producers,” noted Ildus Gabdrakhmanov.

Heads of agricultural departments, specialists, farmers, heads of enterprises, manufacturers and other agrarians from several regions of the republic took part in the open-air seminar.

“Holding such seminars on the basis of our variety testing site has become a good tradition. They are very useful for both agronomists and farm managers, heads and specialists of agricultural administrations. We all know that weather affects the work of farmers, that is why the conditions for sowing and harvesting campaigns change from year to year. Therefore, I would like the participation in today's seminar to help farmers choose those varieties of crops that are optimal for them, ”said the head of the district Dmitry Ivanov.

Interested persons can take part in seminars of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan and receive a lot of useful information for themselves. The next one will be held tomorrow in Zainsky district, and the day after tomorrow - in Buinsky.
