The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan helps commodity producers of Halal products find end customers abroad and undergo international certification
A meeting of the Halal agricultural products export working group was held at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, in which Rustem Gaynullov, project manager of halal products export company, leading specialists of the Republican Agro-Industrial Center for Investments and Innovations (RACIN), and the head of TC “ Agrotrade ”Alexander Turzhansky and General Director of the Center for Youth and Social Development“ Halal ”Aidar Gazizov took part.
Aidar Gazizov also met with the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov. The deputy minister said that the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov pays great attention to the issues of exporting agricultural products and sets the tasks for the prospective development of halal production, together with the RACIN.
“Active work to develop the export of halal products is underway. We help manufacturers to find end customers abroad, pass international certification, and hold consultations on measures of state support for exports”, said Nail Zalakov.
The head of the halal products export project Rustem Gaynullov noted that a significant number of enterprises now have accreditation for such production in Tatarstan, they are engaged in the production of poultry meat, cattle, semi-finished products, meat delicacies, confectionery products, honey, mineral water, chicken eggs and have the opportunity to sell their products on the Russian market and abroad. Now Tatarstan producers of halal products enter the markets of the Persian Gulf, Turkey, China and the CIS countries.
In turn, the head of the Halal Aidar Gazizov spoke about the activities of the Halal International Center for Standardization and Certification under the Council of Muftis of Russia. This is the only organization on the territory of the Russian Federation that has received authority from the Chairman of the Council of Muftis of Russia, Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation, Mufti Sheikh Ravil-Khazrat Gainutdin to carry out activities for certification of Halal products and services. It should be noted that the Halal ICSiS cooperates with foreign organizations responsible for controlling food imports, ensuring the export of Halal Russian products to Muslim countries.
Recall, the Director General of the International Center for Standardization and Certification "Halal" Aidar Gazizov previously visited the largest agricultural exhibition "Field Day in Tatarstan - 2020", where they made an agreement on cooperation on the export of Tatarstan products with "Halal".
