The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan pays great attention to the development of small and medium enterprises in rural areas. Today in every district there are people who have opened their own business and successfully developed it. One of them is the Nurmukhammetovs family from the village of Tukai, Cheremshan region. In 2019, they received a subsidy from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan to reimburse part of the cost of building a mini-farm for dairy farming. With these funds, they built a room for animals, then acquired two pregnant heifers and two foals.
Sagit Salimzyanovich, who previously worked at a chemical plant in Nizhnekamsk, did not find a better place to live than his native village.
“Where else can you find such beauty and spaciousness? Indeed, in the city you feel like a bird in a cage - there is not enough air to breathe fully. I don’t even want to go somewhere to rest. The best rest and air is here, ”says the farmer.
To date, the farm contains 16 heads of cattle, seven of which are dairy cows. There is enough space in the barn for all animals.
His wife knocks butter out of milk, makes red cottage cheese (court), katyk, sour cream and gubadiya.
Sagit Nurmukhammetov has a livestock education, he is a true professional in animal husbandry.
Farmers grow grass for hay and forage themselves. This year they sowed alfalfa and fodder mixtures on 10 hectares. Over the past winter, cows consumed 70 large bales, 480 small ones - 20 kilograms of hay each, a KamAZ body of forage, and two pulps.
“Daily we brew eight buckets of fodder from the feed mixture. In winter we warm the drinking water,” says Sagit Nurmukhammetov.
For Sagit Salimzyanovich there is nothing complicated in waking up early in the morning. “Idleness and inaction leads only to illness, how can you spend time without work? I don’t see anything difficult in livestock farming, ”he says.
Farmers take milk directly from the house, there is no problems with the calculation, the money is transferred to the card. Today, on average, an economy delivers 50-60 kilograms of products, which is almost 1.5 tons per month. Last year, they sold 18 tons of milk.
The products are bought not only by the villagers, but also by the residents of Nurlat. Farmers use the proceeds from the sale of milk and meat to expand the livestock building.
Nurmukhammetovs are also skilled beekeepers. On their apiary they contain about 30 bee families.
Spouses Nurmukhammetovs, who created a family 35 years ago, raised three children. Two of them live on their own, while the youngest is still nearby. They do all the work together.
In the future, farmers dream of acquiring an electric shepherd and building a fodder kitchen for animals.
