Dzhambulat Khatuov: farmer dynasties of Tatarstan are a guarantee that business will continue

Within the agricultural exhibition "Field Day in Tatarstan" a round table was held with the self-employed and farmers of Tatarstan. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, RT Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dzhambulat Khatuov took part in the meeting.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss pressing issues of farmers, improve state support measures and provide the Tatarstan people with high-quality agricultural products.

“The Republic has supported and will continue to support this form of economic activity,” said RT President Rustam Minnikhanov.

- We pay a lot of attention to large agro-industrial complexes, but the issue of supporting farmers, personal farmsteads, and self-employed is also important. We understand that all this should be developed in a comprehensive manner. ” The President of the Republic of Tatarstan noted that supporting small and medium-sized businesses in the countryside is one of the priority tasks for the heads of municipal regions of the republic.

Rustam Nurgalievich said modern farmers are hardworking and ambitious entrepreneurs who are ready to implement projects.

"More than 30 of the 40 republican programs are aimed at developing and improving the social infrastructure of the village, employment of residents, preserving its foundations and the identity of the culture. The development of small forms in the village for more than 10 years has been considered at the highest level. According to the results of 2019, one hundred prizes of 100 thousand rubles were awarded to the heads of rural settlements, private household farms, cooperatives and farmers. The total amount of grants and subsidies exceeds more than 2 billion rubles, "said RT Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov.

Most of all, the first deputy minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation was impressed by farmers of Tatarstan who participated in the exhibition with the whole family.

"We are witnesses that farming in Tatarstan is growing. Today, whole dynasties represented the products at the exhibition. When father and son, father and daughters are not only a matter of pride, but also a guarantee that the business will continue," the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dzhambulat Khatuov.

During the round table, the heads of peasant farms and self-employed asked the questions of concern, mainly it was the topic of state support to farmers.

The largest agricultural exhibition of the field format “Field Day in Tatarstan” opened on July 2 in the Laishevsky district of the republic. Almost 200 exhibitors from 24 regions of Russia and Belarus take part in the work.
