Marat Zyabbarov at the Field Day in Tatarstan presented certificates to grant recipients

Today, within the exhibition “Field Day in Tatarstan 2020” in Laishevsky District, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov handed certificates to farmers and cooperatives that won competitions on programs for family livestock farms, beginning farmers and agricultural cooperatives.

Grants ranging from 1.3 to 28.8 million rubles were received by 25 family farms, 63 novice farmers and 64 farmers on Agrostartup projects. Thanks to this, grant recipients will create 62 dairy farms for 4146 cows, 35 cattle fattening farms for 3324 heads, 14 poultry farms for 602 thousand birds, 5 farms for 1040 horses and 4 fish farms. There will also be implemented 9 projects for the production of grain and leguminous crops, 4 sheep farms, 13 projects for the cultivation of fruit and berry crops, 4 projects for beekeeping and 3 for vegetable growing on open ground. In villages, more than 360 permanent jobs will appear.

“This is very important to preserve village' structure. I personally congratulate you on winning the competitions, ”said Marat Zyabbarov to the grantees. He wished farmers successful implementation of business projects and growth in agricultural production by at least 10%.

The largest number of winners of competitions in federal programs was determined in Chistopol, Sabinsky, Kukmorsky and Mamadyshsky, Aznakaevsky, Tukaevsky, Muslyumovsky, Novosheshminsky, Rybno-Slobodsky, Vysokogorsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Nizhnekamsky, Sarmanovsky and Tyulyachinsky municipal areas.

The competition committee selected 10 of the 20 agricultural consumer cooperatives, totaling 300 million rubles in grants.

The head of the peasant farm Albert Shakirzyanov from the Arsky district is engaged in growing currants. On 5 hectares of the area he grows 12 thousand seedlings. In the future, the farmer plans to increase the number of seedlings. Albert Shakirzyanov will sell his berries to cooperatives and the locals of the Arsky district.

The exhibition "Field Day in Tatarstan - 2020" will run from July 2 to 4. The event also provides a wide business program: round tables, seminars, workshops and presentations.
