All efforts of peasant farmers Lenar Giniyatullin from Ekaterinovka of Spassky District are currently aimed at creating a reliable fodder base for the upcoming wintering of livestock.
The farmer has more than 500 heads of cattle, 190 of them are dairy cows. Providing animals with food for the whole winter is the main task of the economy today. Its successful solution is facilitated by the quality of grassy vegetation on fodder land and the weather, despite the rainfall.
The harvesting of haylage by Catherine began about two weeks ago. Before the rains they managed to remove perennial grasses on an area of 25 hectares.
Currently, alfalfa is harvested from 110 hectares. There are 1000 tons of this valuable feed.
Responsible and conscientious machine operators took part in such an important matter: Ramil Abdrakhmanov was engaged in harvesting on the KSU-1 combine harvester, Ilshat Giniyatullin was cutting the grass, it was transported by Evgeny Bugrov on tractor and Nail Tukhvatullin on KamAZ with a trailer. Ildar Giniyatullin on the Amkodor loader and Ilsaf Nureyev on the K-700A were involved in the mass ramming.
And at the end of this month they plan to fill the second hay tower with a feed mixture in the amount of 2000 tons. For these purposes, 114 hectares of annual grasses planted on the farm will be used.
From the second mowing of grass, hay will also be prepared; 350 tons are needed for the entire winter period. They are fully prepared for harvesting, waiting for favorable weather conditions. In addition, corn, which occupies 160 hectares, as well as barley, winter and spring wheat, for which more than 1000 hectares are allocated, are also designed to replenish the feed ration of the livestock.
“All this is aimed at avoiding problems with feed during the winter,” says Lenar Giniyatullin. - After all, a large economy requires large investments, a lot of work.
This year, the farm acquired two cultivators, on leasing - the Czechoslovak tractor Zetor-4135. New technology will certainly be a good help in all matters. In addition, the farm built a new warehouse for grain with an area of 540 square meters, reconstructed an old area of 252 meters, where the roof was replaced and the floor was flooded. It is planned to install ZAV-10 before the start of the harvesting campaign.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, a forage harvesting campaign is gaining momentum in all farms in the Spassky region. So, the harvesting of haylage is currently carried out by Avangard JSC: 2,500 tons are stored. In all agricultural enterprises, they are engaged in haymaking. To date, 4100 tons have been harvested. Along with this, one should not forget about the implementation of such an important agricultural method as soil preparation for winter crops. Vapor processing will have to be performed on an area of more than 20520 hectares, while 17300 hectares have been prepared.
