“In recent years, due to the automation of agricultural production and the replacement of heavy manual labor by machinery, the number of employed rural people in the agro-industrial complex has been steadily declining. Accordingly, there is a problem of their employment and ensuring profitability. The support program for beginner farmers is aimed at improving the living standards of rural residents, providing employment to the rural population, increasing the business activity of young people in rural areas, and maintaining a rural way of life. These people want to devote themselves completely to the rural lifestyle in the future, we wish them successful joint work in the implementation of the selected projects, ”said Rishat Khabipov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry will provide control over the targeted spending of funds by novice farmers.
