Marat Zyabbarov: There are 3400 combine harvesters for harvesting grain and leguminous crops
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov reported on the progress of fodder storage in the Republic of Tatarstan today at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. Today, 3 thousand tons of hay and 180 thousand tons of silage are harvested. The pace - due to wet weather - is low.

As the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan noted, 1.5 million hectares of grain and leguminous crops are to be harvested this year. For this, there are 3400 combine harvesters. The load on one combine harvester in the republic is about 520 ha. At some farms, it exceeds 1 thousand hectares. Today, the readiness of harvesting equipment in the republic is 63%.
About half of the combine harvesters are to be repaired. Their restoration requires 2.1 billion rubles, spare parts for 1 billion rubles were purchased.
“The machine operators have freed themselves from sowing work, and the task of farm managers is to assign machine operators to combines and begin their intensive training. For round-the-clock loading and efficient use of the combine fleet, it is necessary to assign each unit to two equivalent machine operators with certificates of a tractor driver of the corresponding category, ”said Marat Zyabbarov.
He also recommended involving mechanized detachments and without delaying concluding contracts - for those who have high loads on combines.
In the republic, 17 mechanized work units are engaged in grain harvesting, 5 - in fodder harvesting. Heavy rainfall increases the likelihood of lodging bread in large areas. Therefore, according to the Minister, it will be necessary to apply two-phase cleaning and to complete the reapers with the stem lifters.
Marat Zyabbarov recalled that during the harvesting there is an acute shortage of vehicles. Agricultural producers of the republic annually attract about 2500 units of freight vehicles, in addition to the existing 4,500 thousand.
In most cases, harvesting is delayed due to the expectation of standard humidity. We have about 400 grain dryers in the farms of the republic. Their daily potential is about 50 thousand tons. In addition, 35 elevators and grain receiving enterprises of the republic have grain drying capacities of 20 thousand tons per day.
Farms that do not have drying equipment need to use their services.
“For timely harvesting, we need to intensively update the combine park and drying facilities. This year, the rate of renewal of combine harvesters is not bad, over the past six months they have gained almost an annual volume of past years, ”said Marat Zyabbarov.
According to him, in farms with developed livestock farming, it is economically feasible to lay wet rolled and crushed grain in the sleeves and trenches. The technology is proven, makes it possible to start cleaning 2 weeks earlier with humidity up to 50%. Thus, drying costs and load on combine harvesters are reduced, as well as losses.
“Until July 15, we will check the readiness of the whole cleaning complex,” said the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. - Each combine will be checked for compliance with labor protection and fire safety requirements. At the same time, the readiness of the units for processing winter chill as the main technological process for laying the foundations of the future harvest will be checked. ”
