Marat Zyabbarov asked the regions to approach the organization of fodder harvesting with responsibility
Today in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, a meeting was held with the municipal regions on the preparation of feed, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.
During the еvent, Deputy Minister Lenar Garipov reported that 459 thousand tons of milk were produced in 4 months of this year, with an increase of 7% compared to last year. With a productivity of 2034 kg, 138 thousand tons of meat were grown (104% to last year). The 2020 plan for milk yield per cow is 6,500 kg. For the implementation of this number, there are specific indicators for the animal's need for feed.
According to the new standards of feeding, an accounting of animals needs and the nutritional value of the feed will be made in the exchange energy contained in the dry matter of the feed. The higher the concentration of metabolic energy in the feed, the higher the eatability and the productivity of cows is. The production of 1 liter of milk will require an average of 700 g of dry matter with a content of up to 11 MJ of exchange energy. The lower the concentration of energy in dry matter, the higher the cost of production is.
“When planning the feed base, we must adhere to the scientifically based structure of the ratio of feed of animals. This ratio ensures high productivity and good animal health, ”said Lenar Garipov.
In order to plan the average annual milk productivity of cows at the level of 6500-7000 liters and to ensure that the livestock of animals in agricultural enterprises has sufficient feed volumes, 4.1 million tons of haylage must be prepared in the republic, 3.7 million tons of silage and 0.7 million tons of hay.
Almaz Khisamutdinov, Head of the Main Veterinary Administration of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, drew attention to the importance of the correct preparation of feed.
According to Almaz Khisamutdinov, the health and longevity of animals depends on balanced nutrition. Veterinarians should be involved in the prevention of infectious diseases. All other diseases can be eliminated by good feeding and maintenance.
During his speech, Almaz Khisamutdinov asked to pay attention to the feed center of Vostok LLC: “Today the republic has a good practice of using feed centers. In Vostok LLC, Kukmorsky district, after the launch of the feed center, the costs of veterinary preparations decreased by 60%. This positive experience needs to be adopted by all leaders, ”added the head of the Main Directorate of the Cabinet of Ministers of the RT.
At the end of the event, Marat Zyabbarov turned to the districts with the request to approach the organization of fodder preparation as seriously and responsibly as possible, starting with the preparation of fodder harvesting equipment, silage trenches, timely laying of green mass and determining the nutritional value. “High-quality feed will allow you to save money and increase the profitability of milk and meat production,” said the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan.
