Soil liming started in Tatarstan: RT Ministry of Agriculture controls work through GPS

Liming has already begun in the Alkeevsky, Almetyevsky, Apastovsky, Arsky, Atninsky, Buinsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Zainsky, Kukmorsky, Mamadyshsky, Muslyumovsky, Novosheshminsky, Nurlatsky, Rybno-Slobodsky, Sabinsky, Tukaevsky areas. This year it is planned to process 80 thousand hectares of land of the republic. To date, 73 520 tons of lime have been exported and 3 939 ha have been processed.
On all fertilizing equipment GPS has been installed that allows to control the fact of liming of the land. In addition, at the moment, they are testing the service developed at the RIVC, which allows you to control not only the fact of the introduction of lime, but the removal of lime without leaving the controlling employee, as well as automatically generate an act of work performed and sign it through electronic document management. Recall that Tatarstan in 2019 was marked by the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia among the leading regions in liming acidic soils. In 2019, liming in the republic was carried out on an area of 57 thousand hectares. 90% of the costs of agricultural producers for this were reimbursed by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan.
