On May 26, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov visited Almetyevsk region. Accompanied by the head of the district Timur Nagumanov and the head of the department of agriculture and food Fanis Sharafiev, he visited a number of farms. On the field of perennial grasses of one of the largest farms in the region - agricultural enterprises named after N.E. Tokarlikova they held a discussion of the progress of forage harvesting and other pressing issues.
During the conversation, Marat Zyabbarov reminded the heads of farms of the region about the need to rejuvenate the crops of perennial grasses in order to increase the productivity of the feed fields. “It is necessary to maximize the area across the republic and abandon the use of the area under grasses for more than 4 years,” the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan noted.
The Minister also gave a number of explanations on the content and smooth operation of the equipment, updating the seed stock and the organization of mortar units. He called on Almetyevsk agrarians to participate more actively in various programs to support agricultural producers. “All programs work, you need to use them, you cannot stay in one place, you must study and implement new technologies,” the vice prime minister advised.
Next, the Minister of Agriculture visited the dairy complex named after N.E. Tokarlikova. Marat Zyabbarov got acquainted with the daily work of a modern and high-tech economy. The farm buildings, the maternity ward, and the dairy unit were examined. The complex contains more than 1600 heads of cattle, more than 800 heads of which are cows. The daily milk yield per cow is 30 liters.
Accompanied by the head of the region Timur Nagumanov, the minister also visited the “Yagodnaya Dolina” and “Ovoschnaya Dolina”, where they grow and sell berry and vegetable crops and got acquainted with the activities of the “Derevnya” cooperative. Today, 17 farmers who are planning to grow crops on an area of more than 70 hectares are successfully working in the cooperative. The largest areas will be occupied by Beijing, white cabbage, carrots, beets and other crops. In addition to vegetable crops, the cooperative grows currants and raspberries on an area of 38 hectares. In the future, it is planned to expand irrigated areas and purchase equipment for processing vegetables.
The Minister was shown planting cauliflower on open ground and sprinkler irrigation of the greenhouse.
Next, Marat Zyabbarov visited the farm of Alexei Zaikin, who is engaged in sheep farming. To date, the first phase of the construction of a 500-head building has already been completed on its territory. The second stage is the construction of a shepherd for 1000 goals. The third stage is the construction in 2021 of a building for 1000 animals. This year, Alexei Zaikin opened a new cooperative "Novonikolsk", which will be engaged in the processing of raw meat.
The final point of the visit was the Almetyevsk Regional State Veterinary Association, which was updated after a major overhaul. Here Marat Zyabbarov got acquainted with the work of the veterinary laboratory.
At the end of his working visit, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic gave a positive assessment to the work of agrarians of the Almetyevsk region and wished the farmers success and good results.
