News from the fields: 6 districts of Tatarstan completed sowing
The sowing campaign in the republic is close to the finish line. Of the upcoming volumes of spring sowing (1.8 million hectares), 1637.3 thousand hectares were sown, or 92% of the forecast.
Of these, spring and grain make 1,008.5 thousand ha.
spring wheat - 379.6 thousand ha
corn for grain - 42.2 thousand ha
potatoes - 1.6 thousand ha
rapeseed - 96.8 thousand ha
sugar beet - 49.1 thousand ha
sunflower - 113.2 thousand ha
According to operational data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, sowing was completed in Sarmanovsky, Mamadyshsky, Nurlatsky, Tetyushsky, Zainsky and Atninsky districts.
They reached the finish line in Leninogorsk, Tukaevsky, Cheremshansky, Drozhzhanovsky, Buinsky, Menzelinsky, Yutazinsky, Apastovsky and Novosheshminsky districts.
Sowing sugar beets has already been completed in 9 of 11 districts.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan informs that from May 20 to 22, the republic will host a commission acceptance of fodder equipment, fodder storages for harvesting 2020 and stationary mortar units.
