The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan respects veterans of the Great Patriotic War and those who worked in the rear during these years, providing the country's food supply. Traditionally, every year on the eve of May 9, veterans and home front workers are honored in the walls of the Palace of Farmers. However, the epidemiological situation this year has made adjustments. But dear veterans were not left without attention.

On May 7, employees of the ministry, in compliance with all necessary precautions, visited fellow veterans of the Great Patriotic War, who worked in peacetime in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan. With warm wishes and congratulations on the 75th anniversary of the Victory, they traditionally presented food packages (with products produced by farmers of Tatarstan) to 14 veterans. Their life was not easy, but they never lost optimism and continued working.

Veterans in response with tears in their eyes thanked for the care and attention shown.

Also, today, RT Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Ildus Gabdrakhmanov congratulated Mukhamet Iskhakov, who reached Berlin. The other day he turned 99 years old.

“We heartily congratulate you on the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War! The memory of the heroic deed of your generation, of the dedication of warriors and workers of the rear, who gave peace and a happy life to mankind, is not subject to time. We wish you good health, prosperity, good spirits and inexhaustible energy! ”Ildus Gabdrakhmanov addressed the veteran.

When the war began, Mukhamet Zaripovich was working at the state farm as an agronomist. All were taken to the front. And he did not want to stay away.

“We had the great fortune to storm Berlin. We experienced a sense of joy and pride! - the veteran shared his memories. - When we crossed the Polish-German border, all settlements were practically empty, only elderly women and children left there. I watched how they kept house and admired their coherence and hard work. That’s how I remembered Berlin. ”
