News from the fields: Zainsky district leads in the sowing season of 2020

The long-awaited sun heats the earth and gives rise to a new crop. In this regard, agrarians of the republic try not to waste time.

To date, the dynamics of spring sowing is 40% or 722.4 thousand ha, of which grain makes 526 thousand ha; rapeseed - 15 thousand ha; sunflower - 43 thousand ha; sugar beets - 33 thousand ha; fodder - 88 thousand ha.

According to current data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the largest percentage of sowing today is on barley. It is already sown on an area of 312.9 thousand ha, which is 69%. The largest crops in the Sarmanovsky district are 17,200 ha of barley, Zainsky - 17,000 ha, Menzelinsky - 15,800 ha, Chistopolsky - 13,000 ha, Aznakaevsky - 12,900 ha, Aktanyshsky - 11,900 ha, Buinsky - 11,700 ha.

Oats are sown on an area of 37.3 thousand ha (56% of the planned area). Today, the agrarians of the Cheremshansky, Novosheshminsky, Bugulminsky, Mamadyshsky and Leninogorsk regions are actively working.

Wheat is sown on an area of ​​130.6 thousand ha, which is 34% of the planned area. A good pace of work was noticed in Buinsky, Aktanyshsky, Menzelinsky, Muslyumovsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Aznakaevsky and Apastovsky districts.

The landowners of Sarmanovsky, Zainsky, Buinsky, Tukaevsky, Tetyushsky, Menzelinsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Kaybitsky, Apastovsky, Nizhnekamsk districts also started sowing sugar beets.

The highest rate of work in Tatarstan is in Zainsky district. Here sowing has already been completed by 73%. Buinsky (69%) and Aktanyshsky (64%) districts are following.

The lowest rates of sowing are in the northern regions of the republic. Due to climatic conditions, spring field work here traditionally began later.
