Residents of small towns and villages have the opportunity to improve their living conditions through preferential mortgage lending. 193 Tatarstan residents have already done it this year.
One of them is engineer Pavel Demagin. The city of Tetyushi, where he lives, was included in the list of small cities with a population of up to 30 thousand inhabitants, which from this year have access to preferential mortgages of up to 3% per annum.
“Having learned about the program, I decided, without hesitation, to take this opportunity,” says Pavel. - I read the announcements for the sale of private houses here in Tetyushi, I chose the right one, collected the necessary documents, made a 175 thousand rubles down payment and received a loan in the Tetyushsky branch of the Agricultural Bank - 1.3 million rubles at 3% per annum for 15 years. I will pay 7.8 thousand rubles a month. The money is not small, but the main thing is that the housing problem has been solved.
Currently, Demagin is repairing the purchased house. There is electricity, gas, water, sewage. Household plot is 4 acres, where apple trees, cherries, plums, berry bushes grow. There is also an area for vegetables.
“This year, the forces and resources will most likely be spent on repairs, and then I’ll take care of the land and think about getting married,” the engineer notes.
The federal subprogram of preferential mortgage lending was developed by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia as part of the state program "Integrated Development of Rural Areas". This year, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, 193 Tatarstan residents have already improved their living conditions.
