The Government of Tatarstan extended the state program of agricultural development until 2025

The Government of Tatarstan has extended the republican state program "Development of agriculture and regulation of agricultural products, raw materials and food markets in the Republic of Tatarstan". Now it will work until 2025.

The corresponding decree was signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Alexey Pesoshin.

All types of state support provided to farmers by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan will be continued. This includes the development of crop production, animal husbandry, beef cattle breeding, support for small forms of farming, technical and technological modernization, innovative development, development of land reclamation in agricultural purposes.

The state program is aimed not only at the development of the agro-industrial complex of the republic, but also at creating comfortable living conditions in the countryside, the formation of a positive attitude to the village and rural lifestyle.

So, in 2019, the subprogram of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan “Sustainable Development of Rural Areas” was completed. It was replaced by the federal program "Integrated Development of Rural Areas", according to which it is planned to create housing for rural residents with a total area of 56, 131 thousand square meters.

The current gardening will also not be left aside. It is planned to lay 208.7 km of overhead and cable lines of 0.4 and 6-10 kW, 119.5 km of paved access roads, create 261 water towers and reservoirs for horticultural and gardening non-profit partnerships.

The program is expected to increase agricultural production in farms of all categories in 2025 compared to 2012 by 27.6%, including crop production - by 31.7%, livestock production - 23.2%, food - by 52.8%.

According to the updated program passport, in 2020 the republic’s budget will allocate 12.5 billion rubles for its implementation. Another 6.3 billion will be added by the federal budget.
