At the Kazan Agrarian University, the student labor detachment Zashchita was sent to the fields of Zelenodolsk and Nurlat districts
On April 28, the Kazan State Agrarian University hosted the student labor detachment Zashchita. Rector Ayrat Valiev and vice-rector for infrastructure development and production activities Nailya Hamidullina met with the student team.
Today, students have already gone to the fields of the Nurlatsky and Zelenodolsky districts, to work with weeds, diseases and pests of crops.
The tradition, when every spring university students become members of labor groups, has been around for many years. Young specialists work during the sowing season as tractor drivers and agronomists, perform various jobs in agricultural organizations and contribute to ensuring the food security of the republic.
Also, students are actively working in the Center of Landscaping, in greenhouses and other structural divisions of the university, mastering professional competencies. By the way, the Center of Landscape Design of the Kazan State Agrarian University is ready to provide residents of Kazan with planting material: indoor plants, summer perennial flowers, fruit and ornamental trees and shrubs.
The Center of Landscape Design was created for practical training of students of the Faculty of Agronomy and the Faculty of Forestry and Ecology. The total area is 3 hectares. On the territory there is a greenhouse complex with an area of about 650 square meters, a laboratory complex of microbiology, a vegetable store, storage rooms, training classes and an irrigation system.
Recall, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan announced the recruitment of urban residents and students for work in the countryside as part of the project “Summer Employment in the Village - 2020”.
